This will be an open discussion on how to motivate your teenager or young adult and questions are welcome.
This session will be presented by Dr. Julie Morison.
Dr. Morison is a NYS licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults with eating disorders. Dr. Morison is the founder and director of HPA/LiveWell in Albany, NY. The LiveWell IOP program is the only intensive treatment program for eating disorders in the Capital District.
Prior to starting private practice Dr. Morison was the Director of Psychological services for the Northeast Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders. Dr. Morison has served on several committees and boards associated with the development of treatment for people with eating disorders.
Dr. Morison has written extensively in the area of health psychology, including an award winning article in the area of psycho-oncology. Dr. Morison is a member of the American Psychological Association and maintains her faculty position as a psychologist Albany Medical Center.
