Meaghan Furman, LMHC

Meaghan Furman is a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) who specializes in treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties and yoga therapy. She also has extensive experience in marriage and family counseling. Ms. Furman earned her master’s degree in Psychology from Medaille College in Buffalo and her master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the College of Saint Rose in Albany.

Ms. Furman provides individual psychotherapy as well as group therapy for LiveWell’s intensive outpatient program for eating disorders. Her therapeutic style is eclectic, combining dialectical, cognitive and humanistic behavioral interventions while at the core utilizing a personalized holistic approach. Ms. Furman also provides case management services for the Northeast Comprehensive Care Center for Eating Disorders.

Ms. Furman is a member of the American Counseling Association and the New York Mental Health Counselors Association.​​
