Monica Raminger, LMHCMonica Raminger Amorosi is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) specializing in healthy behavioral development in children and adolescents. She centers her work around childhood and developmental trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders, family conflict, parenting, ADHD management, school and academic concerns, self-esteem, and communication skills.

Monica earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from SUNY Brockport and her M.S.Ed. graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Rose.

She provides individual clinical sessions for youth patients ages four and up as well as adults, family therapy, parenting support, and group counseling.

Monica is a certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional, certified through the IATP, and has training in ABA, DBT, and TF-CBT. Her experience with children and families focuses strongly on managing difficult behaviors at home and at school, with school consultations as needed.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Schoharie County ACES Team, where she provides professional development on trauma and learning to local school districts.”
