Katherine Wells, LMSW

Katherine Wells a Licensed Mastered Social Worker who received her undergrad education in Social Work at the State University of Plattsburgh in 2009 and received her Masters of Social Worker from the State University at Albany in May of 2010.

She has been in the field of social work in different sectors for the last seven years, including child welfare and being a social worker in the foster care system. For five years her focus was in the addictions field as a clinician who worked with patients individually as well as in group therapy at different levels of care such as detox, inpatient and outpatient services.

Recently, in the last two years she has focused attention on eating disorders and HIV care on an administrative level. She also has experience teaching at the collegiate level at Empire State University as an Adjunct Professor in Introduction to Human Service as well as Family Interventions.
